How mātauranga Māori enables effective social investment

In this session Sacha McMeeking (Ngāi Tahu) shared how holistic, relational approaches can offer new ways of holding complexity and shape more effective social investment.

Sacha also shared insights from a soon to be published report providing kaupapa Māori recommendations for social investment. Sacha was instrumental in synthesising He Ara Waiora, a framework that helps the Treasury understand Māori perspectives on wellbeing, from discussions amongst leaders in mātauranga Māori.
